Lori Ann Bell Melton, 55, of Earlington, KY passed away at 2:47 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on May 27, 1959 in Ashland, KY to Kay H. Oberg and the late Ray T. Bell. Lori was formerly employed with the USDA as an inspector.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky L. Melton and an infant daughter, Angel Vincent.

She is survived by her mother, Kay H. Oberg of Madisonville; sons, Joshua (Melissa) Vincent and Jesse Vincent both of Madisonville; daughter, Myra (Eric) Offutt of Leeds, AL; step-son, Craig Melton of Madisonville; sister, Jena (Robert) Bell Gamblin of Bowling Green, KY; brother, Andrew Fannin of Earlington; grandsons, Corey Vincent and Logan Offutt; granddaughters, Dakota Vincent, Jaylynn Vincent, Chaslyn Ryan and Raylee Offutt; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Len Young officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.
