Lorena "Mary" Clark, 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016.

She was born on October 5, 1928 in Haubstadt, IN to the late Rosie M. and John W. Martin. Mary was owner and operator of Hanson Grill in Hanson, KY for thirty-five years. She was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed spending her time planting flowers and doing yard work. Mary had a love for animals.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Clark; sisters, Minnie Monahan, Flo Monahan and Cecilia Powell; and a brother, Joseph Martin.

Survivors include her brother, Irwin Martin of California; sister-in-law, Beverly Martin of Indiana; niece and caregiver, Lisa Hunter and husband, Jerry of Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and special friends that were always there for her.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Lawrence Richardson officiating. Burial to follow in Hanson Cemetery in Hanson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
