Lola Mae Penrod, 76, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at her home.

She was born on September 2, 1946, in Tupelo, MS, to the late Viola Holder Bridges and Leo Bridges. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Penrod; sisters, Louise Kirk and Clytee Hipwell; and brother, L.C. Bridges.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Jackie Penrod of Madisonville; daughters, Gail Brown and Sandra Martin, both of Madisonville; son, Billy Penrod of Madisonville; brother, Jim Bridges of Tupelo, MS; sister, Mary Bridges of Zion, IL; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Rickard officiating. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Carlton Brown, Wayne Brown, Jeff Curneal, Jeff Vincent, Randall Ward, and Andy McKnight.
