Linda Lee McCarty Williams, 81, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Columbia Healthcare in Evansville, IN.

She was born on February 9, 1945, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Hazel Nance McCarty and Lee McCarty. She enjoyed watching wrestling, being outdoors, listening to Conway Twitty, and adored her dogs. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Williams; and her sister, Mary Rudisill.

Her survivors include her sons, Glenn Upchurch of Madisonville, Tracy (Kimberly) Upchurch of Evansville, IN, and Kevin (Krystal) Upchurch of Michigan; daughter-in-law, Sherry Upchurch of Madisonville; brother, Terry McCarty of Madisonville; grandchildren, Christa Upchurch and Steven Upchurch, both of Madisonville; great-grandchildren, Abigail Upchurch and Juliann Upchurch; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Odd Fellows Cemetery with her family giving the eulogy. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
