Linda Traylor, 75, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

She was born on August 19, 1940 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Virginia Louise Jameson and Thomas Dillman Jameson. Linda was a Registered Nurse and was director of nursing at the Clinic Convalescent Center, a nurse supervisor at Trover Clinic and a county health nurse at the Hopkins County Health Department. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville since 1952.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Ellis Traylor; daughter, Angela Traylor Yates Locke of Madisonville; sister, Mary Jameson Hughes and husband, Eddie of Madisonville; grandsons, William "Billy" Yates and wife, Melissa "Missy" of White Plains, KY and Steven Locke of Slaughters, KY; great-granddaughter, Makinzy Yates of White Plains; great-grandson, Dylan Yates of White Plains; and a niece, Jessica Hughes of Leitchfield, KY.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Dr. Kevin Maples and Pastor David Jackson officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
