Linda Devona Smith, 73, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess.

She was born on February 28, 1949, in Dalton, KY, to the late Elaine Barton and Jack Barton. She was a retired CNA at Regional Medical Center. She loved her dog, Marie Leveau. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Linda was a member of Grace Warehouse Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith; several brothers and sisters; and her granddaughter, Jessica Stacy.

Survivors include her daughters, Robin Champeau of Madisonville and Tina (Raymond) Merideth of Noblesville, IN; six granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Prospect Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Gayla Miller officiating. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
