Linda Hollis, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Lucy King Care Center in Henderson, KY.

She was born on November 28, 1939 in Earlington, KY to the late Susie Mae Knight and Chester Crook. Linda was formerly employed with Regional Medical Center in Madisonville and was of the Baptist faith. She had a love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray Crook and James Crook.

Survivors include her sons, Nathan Hollis and wife, Sara of Slaughters, KY and Johnny Hollis of Madisonville; sister, Wanda Thompson of Madisonville; grandson, Nathan Allen Hollis and wife, Meredith  of Slaughters; great-granddaughters, Hailie Hollis and Madison Hollis both of Slaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jerry Bean officiating. Burial to be held at a later date at New Suthards Cemetery.

The visitation will be from Noon until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
