Letha Lee Baize, 83, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree, KY.

She was born on April 18, 1938 in Mortons Gap, KY to the late Sophia Page Lee and Thomas Elvie Lee. Letha was a faithful and loving member of Living Waters Church of God in Madisonville. She enjoyed sewing and was lovingly known for her sock monkey's that she made.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Baize; her son, Joel Riley; brothers, Rodney "Buck" Lee, Joel Lee and Jimmy Lee; and her sister, Zadie Pierce.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Bruce of Henderson, KY and Kim (Joseph) Crofton of Madisonville; sons, Keith Riley of Abilene, TX, Danny Baize and Darrell (Amy) Baize both of Madisonville; sister, Glenda Dugger of Mortons Gap; brother, Marshall (Carolyn) Lee of Nortonville, KY; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Jessie Campbell officiating. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY.

A visitation will be held from Noon until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Bradley Madison, Dallas Spinks, Jeff Jones, Danny Baize, Darrell Baize and Nicholas Baize.
