Laurie B. Jones, 89, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday February 18, 2010 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born June 30, 1920 in Hopkins County, Ky. She was a housewife and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Della Mae Forker; her step father, Arthur Forker; her husband, Raymond M. Jones; a son, Kenneth Jones and a daughter, Imogene Wagoner.

She is survived by five daughters, Willow Dean Porter of Madisonville, Ella Mae Dillinger of North City, Ill., Paula Matheny of Madisonville, Linda Matlock of Evansville, IN. and Lisa Abbott of Madisonville; three sons, Morton R. Jones, Glendel Jones both of Providence, Ky. and Gary Jones of Dawson Springs, Ky.; a brother, Eugene Forker of Providence, Ky.; three sisters, Sue Reynolds of Madisonville, Virginia Alexander of Dawson Springs, KY. and Faye Stills of Oklahoma; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday February 21, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jerry Bean officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday at Harris Funeral Home.
