Laura B. Rickard, 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on November 20, 1928 in Providence, KY to the late Eula and John Norvell. Laura enjoyed traveling in her spare time and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Rickard; her daughter, Judith Rickard; brothers, Sonny and Oscar Norvell; a sister, Joretta Frazier and a grandson, Darrin Smith.

Survivors include her children; Anna Sisk and husband, Larry of Owensboro, KY, Buck Rickard and wife, Vicki of Madisonville, Ricky Rickard of Henderson, KY and Brenda Erickson and husband, Rod of Madisonville; sisters, Mildred Parker and husband, Charlie and Lois Clayton and husband, Jackie all of Madisonville; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private with Bro. Terry Rhye officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.

The family request in lieu of flowers that a contribution be made in Laura's memory to the donors favorite charity.
