Larry Dale Vanover, 68, of Sacramento, KY passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on January 18, 1949 to the late Lucille and Ottury T. Vanover. Larry retired as a truck driver and mechanic with the City of Madisonville Sanitation Department. He was a member of Life Apostolic Church in Madisonville and loved to draw and go fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Vanover; sister, Judy Vanover and brother, Ronnie Vanover.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Vanover; daughters, Tammy Patterson and husband, Michael and Tonya Young and husband, Earl both of Madisonville; step-daughter, Kim Albin and husband, Robert of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Linda Robards and husband, Charles of Madisonville; brother, Kenneth Vanover and wife, JoAnn of Hanson, KY; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Life Apostolic Church 1630 South Main St. Madisonville with Bro. Dustin Lee officiating. Burial to follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at the church.
