Larry Carroll, 61, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his home.

He was born on September 20, 1950 in Madisonville, KY to the late Carolyn and Ligget Carroll. He was formerly a coal miner with Pyro Mining Co. He was a pastor for twenty-seven years and was of the General Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Carroll.

He is survived by his daughter, Brooke (Shane) Scott of Madisonville; two sons, Seth (Kimberley) Carroll of Madisonville and Nathan Carroll of Budapest, Hungary; two grandsons, Jacob Carroll and Simon Carroll both of Madisonville; two sisters, Shirley Garner of Murfreesboro, TN and Angela Shimer of Nashville, TN; his brother, David Carroll of Elizabethtown, KY; his father-in-law, Walter Asherbraner of Madisonville and the father who helped raise him, Bobby Caskey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Charles Lutz officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.
