Kristy Leeann Padilla, 37, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Madisonville.

She was born on May 19, 1988, in Salem, New Jersey, to Kimberly Rosario Padilla and Edwin Padilla, Sr. She was formerly employed as a customer associate at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed playing softball, watching Phillies baseball, and doing her hair and nails. Kristy was of the Baptist faith.

Her survivors include her parents, Edwin and Kimberly Padilla of Madisonville; brother, Edwin Padilla, Jr. of Madisonville; sister, Uria Padilla of Philadelphia, PA; nephew, Beckett Padilla of Madisonville; niece, Riley Padilla of Madisonville; and other immediate family and extended family in New Jersey.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
