Lucian "Kirk" Ratliff, 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his home.

He was born on January 6, 1943 in Henderson, KY to the late Jessie B. Todd Ratliff and Luchin Ratliff. Kirk was formerly a coal miner with Peabody Mines and Sinclair Mines. He was a member of Pritchett's Chapel. Kirk enjoyed dancing, racing, fishing and boating.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Ratliff; and his step-son, Tony Harris.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy E. Ratliff of Madisonville; several step-sons and step-daughters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and his fiancée, Diana Alsbrooks of Providence, KY.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2021 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Steve Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.

The visitation will be from Noon until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Billy Johnson, Jr., Kyle Wayne Green, Caleb Wayne Green, Jerry Alsbrooks, Jr., Tammy Ratliff and Chris Marks.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kirk's memory to Baptist Health Hospice or Pritchett's Chapel.
