Kimberly Lane Haley Newsam, 53, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Kimberly was born in Madisonville, KY on April 25,1969, to Pam Bunch Haley and the late Danny Whitaker.

To know her was to love her, as we called her Kim-Bo. She would give you the shirt off her back and anything she could until there was nothing left to give. She had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up the room. Kim's love for animals was her joy, rescuing and finding forever homes for any stray that crossed her path. Two of which she adopted and called her own.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ross Bunch, Jean Lynn, Ethel Vannoy, and Jack and Nelda Haley; sister, Shan Haley Rich; cousin, Christopher Ross Bunch; and beloved, Jessie Joe and Cloe Newsam.

Kimberly is survived by her two children, Nicholas Newsam and Kelsey Stuard, parents, Pam Bunch Haley and Larry Haley; sister, Letha Beth Haley; aunt, Alma Gayle (Doug) Bryant; uncles, Don (Terry) Bunch, Chuck (Linda) Lynn, and Tracy Lynn; nephew, Trevor Broadly; nieces, Angela, Lydia, and Hannah Torres-Haley; great-nieces, Amara Austin and Fawn Haley; cousins, Wanda (Mack) Perkins, Sandra (Willie) Barrera, "Aunt Jan" Janice Bunch Beard, Shane (Krisney) Rigney, Mike Rigney, Robin Bunch Sallee (William); and her beloved rescues, Sissy Lou and Chewy.

A private celebration of Kimberly's life will be held at Mahr Park Arboretum on Thursday, April 6, 2023 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kim's memory to the Hopkins County Humane Society, 2210 Laffoon Trial, Madisonville, KY 42431. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
