Kenneth Ray Quillen, 71, of St. Charles, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess.

He was born on May 5, 1951, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Lee Omia Blanchard Quillen and Lon James Quillen. He was formerly employed as a concrete finisher with Local 692. He loved raising chickens and his roosters and he enjoyed fishing. Kenneth had accepted Christ in his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Lee Quillen Andrews; and brothers, James E. Quillen, Sr. and Terry Gene Quillen.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Judy Harper Quillen; his baby girl, whom he loved dearly, Ashley Ralyn Woodruff Tinsley of St. Charles, KY; his beloved dog, Colt; brother, Dennis (Stacy) Quillen of Madisonville; sisters-in-law, Wilma (Ricky) Todd of St. Charles, Brenda Quillen and Mary Katherine Teague both of Madisonville; brother-in-law, Sonny Andrews of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor J.W. Haire officiating. Burial to follow at Gilland Ridge Cemetery in St. Charles, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ricky Todd, James Todd, Thunder Suttle, Shawn "Bubbie" Camplin, Kenny Cates, James "Jimmy" Edward Quillen, Jr. Honorary pallbearer is David McCraney.
