Kenneth Dale Butler, 68, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

He was born on June 11, 1949 in Nortonville, KY to the late Eliza and Harvey Butler. Dale was in the United States Army Reserves and was a self employed real estate appraiser.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Draksel Butler.

Survivors include his wife, Floreliz "Liz" Butler; sisters, Edith Mae Cheshire and husband, Jimmy of Florida, Marion Foster of Earlington, KY and Lois Adcock of Dawson Springs, KY; his brother, Ray Butler and wife, Jean of Nortonville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Father John Vaughan officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
