Lavon Kay Shellenbarger Croasmun, 65, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at her home.

She was born on May 13, 1955 in Great Falls, MT to Elaine Shellenbarger and the late Philip Shellenbarger. Kay attended Providence Church of Christ. She enjoyed croquet, reading and drawing and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her fiance', Michael Winters; and her sister, Lois Shellenbarger.

Survivors include her mother, Elaine Buckalew Schellenbarger; daughters, Andrea (Buddy) Young of Nebo, KY and Cassandra Croasmun of Clearmont, FL; son, David Wayne Shellenbarger of Finley, OH; brother, Philip David Shellenbarger of Finley; sisters, Louann (Bill) Hemminger of North Baltimore, OH and Laura Anderson of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Rebecca Shellenbarger, Shevia Shellenbarger, Aida Vargas, Philip Shellenbarger, Isabella Young, Andrew Young and Oden Shellenbarger; step-grandchildren, Zoey Langston and Darrin Langston; several nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Providence Church of Christ 2500 Jolly Liberty Rd. Providence, KY 42450 with Pastor Chip Palmer officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service hour Friday at the church.
