Kathryn Ann "Kathy" Law, 61, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at her home.

She was born on September 17, 1963, in Madisonville, KY, to Evelyn Ann Cates Rickard and the late Jackie Dallas Rickard. She was formerly a custodian for the Hopkins County Board of Education. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson and her family.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Rickard and Terry Rickard.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Law of Madisonville; mother, Evelyn Ann Cates Rickard of Madisonville; son, Kenith Law of Madisonville; grandson, Ivan Law of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Rickard officiating. Burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Joshua Rickard, Jesse Rickard, Clark Adcock, and Kenith Law.
