Kasi Janelle Hayes, 34, of Manitou, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

She was born in Madisonville, KY, on February 16, 1987, to Darrell and Mary Courtney Hayes of Manitou. She previously worked at Land O' Frost and also at KT Smoke Shop. Kasi enjoyed shopping, loved furnishing her home, and spending time with her family. Kasi attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sherman and Wanda Hayes and James and Leona Courtney.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Peyton Hayes and Mallory Carter; her sons, Waylon Carter, Landon "Biggie" Basham, and Alexander Nature "Kree" Hayes; her brother, Alan (Christy) Hayes; nieces, Caylyn Hayes and Deonna Watson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 102 Pleasant View Rd., Madisonville, KY 42431, with Pastor Chuck Evans officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the church.
