June V. Dorris Jones, 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at her home.

She was born on June 12, 1938, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Ruby N. Morton Dorris and Luther Dorris. She enjoyed painting, quilting, canning, and cooking. She truly loved cooking for people. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. June attended Suthards Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny T. Jones; brothers, Richard Mack Dorris and John Edward Dorris; and her great-grandson, Lincoln Bradley Scott.

Her survivors include her sons, Gary (Donna) Scott of Madisonville and David Ricky (Kim) Jones of Newburgh, IN; daughter, DeeAnn "Sissy" Jones of Madisonville; grandchildren, Bradley Keith (Katie) Scott and Garrison Reid (Kylie) Scott; great-granddaughters, Lexi Grace Scott and Finlee Paige Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at New Suthards Missionary Baptist Cemetery, 3940 Ilsley Road, Earlington, KY with Bro. George Brooks officiating.
