Julious "J.C." C. Bone, 92, of Elizabethtown, KY formerly of Coiltown, KY went to be home with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Elizabethtown.

He was born on July 4, 1922 in Coiltown, Ky to the late Crystal and Julius Bone. Julious was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII and was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou, KY for eighteen years. He was formerly employed with the Civil Service as a cook.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lilly Francis Sutton and a brother, Elby Bone.

He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Mildred Bone; sons, Gerald Bone and Donald and his wife, Nancy Bone all of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Star Hope General Baptist Church Cemetery near Providence, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.
