Judi Dunkerson Atanoa, 60, of Madisonville, Ky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on July 16, 1954 in Madisonville, KY to Margaret Durham and the late Robert Eugene Dunkerson. Judi worked at the Family Diner in Madisonville as a cook and a waitress. She was a member of Truth Apostolic Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Jeffery Farris and a sister-in-law, Lora Dunkerson.

Survivors include her husband Nick Atanoa; mother, Margaret Durham of Madisonville; daughters, Kim (Karey) Dunkerson and Tania (Aaron) Atanoa all of Madisonville; son, Nicholas Atanoa of Madisonville; brothers, Ralph (Karrie) Dunkerson and Randy (Emma) Dunkerson all of Dawson Springs, KY; granddaughter, Elajah (Dustin) James of Madisonville; grandson, Maika Matautia of Madisonville; great-granddaughter, Kenzlee James of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Michael Orten officiating. Burial to follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Atanoa, Ralph Dunkerson, Randy Dunkerson, Aaron Jarvis, Larry Weaver and Chuck Harryman.
