Joyce Rainwater Bryant, 81, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

She was born on April 1, 1935 in Madisonville, KY to the late Dottie Ethel Rainwater and Grover Lee Rainwater. Joyce retired as a bookkeeper with Peoples Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family and liked to travel. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Madisonville.

Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Dearl Bryant; sons, David Lee Hill and wife, Phyllis and Michael Wayne Bryant and wife, Allyson all of Madisonville; daughters, Karen Rea Greathouse and husband, Jimmy of Lexington, KY, Connie Tess Hobbs and husband, Eddie of Elizabethtown, KY and Debbi Kay Bryant of Madisonville; brother, Larry Rainwater and wife, Yvonne of Madisonville; grandchildren, Amy Hobbs (Aaron Austin) of La Grange, KY, Nikki Murray of Washington Boro, PA, Tyler Hill of Lexington, KY, T.J. Bryant of Shepherdsville, KY, Eric Reisinger of Washington Boro, Zachary Hill of Lexington, Kendall Bryant of Madisonville, Kelsea Hobbs of Elizabethtown, Trey Hill of Madisonville, Abby Hobbs of Elizabethtown and Hillary Greathouse of Lexington; great-granddaughter, Landyn Bryant of Shepherdsville; and two nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Jonathan Lail officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Bryan Rainwater, Jason Rainwater, Tyler Hill, T.J. Bryant, Zachary Hill and Trey Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Amy Hobbs, Nikki Murray, Eric Reisinger, Kendall Bryant, Kelsea Hobbs and Hillary Greathouse.

Memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's memory to Second Baptist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
