Joseph David Harris, 32, of Earlington, KY passed away at his home on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

He was born on May 19, 1990 in Madisonville, KY to Joe D. Harris and the late Julie Hook Fergerson. Joseph was formerly employed at the Earlington Saw Mill. He was a free spirit who loved life, his family and enjoyed meeting people. Joseph loved his dog and enjoyed singing and listening to music.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Douglas Hook, Richard Lee Harris and Bonnie Lee Harris.

Survivors include his father, Joe (Dawn) Harris of Benton, KY; grandmother, Mabel Katherine Hook of Madisonville; step-grandparents, Paul and Patricia Erdman of Benton; sisters, Amber (Jose) Hernandez of Earlington and Ashley Harris of Owensboro, KY; half sister, Crystal Crane of Louisiana; step-brother, Jonathan Scicluna of Benton; step-sister, Tiffany Scicluna of Benton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. John Barner officiating. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
