Johnnie Cunningham, 87, of Madisonville, Ky passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born on November 4, 1928 in Madisonville, KY to the late Ollie and J.W. Edward Cunningham. Johnnie was formerly a self employed master plumber and was formerly a fire fighter with the Madisonville Fire Department.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Edgar Marie Cunningham; son, Terry Wayne Cunningham; seven brothers; a sister; and a son-in-law, James M. Phipps.

Survivors include his daughters, Judy Eden and husband, Mark of Madisonville and Nancy Cunningham Phipps of Earlington, KY; brother, Charles Cunningham of Madisonville; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Billy Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.
