John Edward Waddle, 72, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on November 26, 1951, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Crystal Girdler Waddle and C.B. Dick Waddle. He was formerly employed as a machine operator for Lear Corporation. He loved watching sports and was an avid UK basketball and football fan. John enjoyed his daily bible reading and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his sister, Joy (Jim) Woodruff of St. Louis, MO; brothers, David (LynnAnn) Waddle of Hodgenville, KY, Richard (Fan) Waddle of Louisville, KY, Jeff Waddle and Tim Waddle, both of Madisonville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A private burial will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
