Matthew "John" Mark Stewart, 68, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at his home.

He was born on June 29, 1956, in Graham, KY, to the late Hilda Pauline "Polly" Beadnell Stewart and Ira Bradley Stewart.  He was formerly employed by Royal Brass and Hose and Hannah Hydraulics. He collected ballcaps and knives and he loved fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his sons, Nathan Stewart, Shane Stewart and Steve Stewart, all of Madisonville; daughters, Dicee Stewart and Carmen Rios, both of Madisonville; sisters, his Big Sis Mary Czerwinski of Dunmor, KY, Delight Alexander, Ira Dewayne Conrad, and Cherry Massey, all of Madisonville; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Dunmor, KY, at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
