John Delord, 70, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on October 5, 1951, in Bordeaux France to the late Marthe Chaise. John served in the Military Police with the French Army. He enjoyed antiquing, gardening, traveling, shopping, and absolutely loved his home. He loved building a friendship with those he met. To know John was to love him. John attended Greater Lighthouse Church.

Survivors include Nathan Adcock of Madisonville and his extended family; his sisters, Martine Delord of Coimères France and Mercedes (Alain) Maduray of Roquesérière, France; and his dogs, Dixie and Puppy, which were his world.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Ron Hendricks and Pastor Robbie Knox officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.
