John "Tazzy" Burden, 50, of Providence, KY, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN.

John was born on December 20, 1971, in Madisonville, KY, to Polly Stevens Burden and the late John E. Burden. He loved music, watching game shows, and NASCAR. Years ago, John enjoyed playing C.B. tag with his friends and family. He enjoyed meeting new friends, but his greatest joy was spending time with his son, Luke.

Survivors include his mother, Polly Stevens Burden of Madisonville, KY; son, Lukas "Luke" Burden of Paducah, KY; sister, Sandra Scarbrough of Madisonville; nephew, Tony Young; nieces, Amanda Glaysbrook and Christina Pendley; several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. Along with many healthcare workers he considered his friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
