Joe M. Winstead, Jr., 77, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at his home.

He was born on October 4 , 1939 in Canyon, TX to the late Minnie Lou and Joe M. Winstead, Sr. Joe was a self employed farmer. He enjoyed reading and watching western movies and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Winstead; his daughter, Jo Ann Green; and his sister, Kathryn Hefner.

Survivors include his daughters, Wendy King and husband, Brian of Beaver Dam, KY, Pam Sellers and husband, Stephen of Madisonville and Angela Begley of Murray, KY; son, Ricky Winstead and wife, Susan of Madisonville; brother, Merrell Winstead and wife, Jan of Canyon, TX; sister, Brenda Winstead of Canyon, TX; grandchildren, Brandie Gates, Josh Green, Johnathan Winstead, Marcie Fowler, Megan O'Bryan, Faith Henry, Lesley King, Morgan King, Eric Begley, Heather Begley, Hannah Sellers and Hunter Sellers; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Joe's wishes a private family memorial service will be held. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
