Joe Neil House, 94, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on December 28, 1928, in Hamletsburg, IL, to the late Edith Neflzger House McDaniel and Benjamin House. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a supervisor for ICG Railroad. Of all the things he enjoyed to do, Joe loved and adored his wife and family and cherished spending time with them above everything else. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church of Madisonville.

Survivors include his wife of seventy-two years, Evelyn Ann Massie House of Madisonville, sons, Larry (Jackie) House of Columbus, OH and Ben (Mevelyn) House of Madisonville; grandchildren, Anne (Lee) Puckett, Sarah House, and Brian (Lindsay) House; great-grandchildren, Olivia House, Judson House, and Layla House; nieces, Kelly (Johnny Dale) Davis and Debra Massie; and nephews, Dale Massie and Kevin (Christy) Massie.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bursztynski officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brian House, Lee Puckett, Mike Wilson, Mauricio Porras, Mark Westerfield, and Doug Mings.
