Arretta Joan Vincent, 77, of Dalton, KY passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

Joan was born on November 2, 1946, in Dalton, KY, to the late Ruby Gladys Lame Boyd and William O. Boyd. She was formerly employed by Arvin Industries in Princeton, KY, Hoover Line in Providence, and Palmer Place in Providence. She enjoyed flower gardening and painting. Joan was a member of Prospect Baptist Church in Dalton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Dale Vincent; and an infant brother.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Joe Vincent of Rabbit Ridge, KY, brother, Bobby Boyd of Dalton; and grandchildren, Coty Vincent, Hunter Vincent, and Zack Blades.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Prospect Cemetery in Dalton, KY, with Bro. Tom McKim officiating. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
