Jimmie "Rambler" Miller, 73, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on January 17, 1943 in Rumsey, KY to the late Loxie Lee Miller and Al Brice Miller. Jimmie retired as a truck driver with Tyson Foods and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Jimmie loved his bird Hootie and his hunting dogs.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Buna Miller; daughter, Debbie Miller and husband, Joe of Sacramento, KY; sons, Jimmie Dean Miller and wife, Pam of Murray, KY, Greg Miller and Steve Miller both of Madisonville and Jimmie Elkins and wife, Tammy of Providence, KY; sisters, Linda Miller of Madisonville and Connie Cissna and husband, Roger of Rumsey; brothers, Danny Miller and wife, Kathy and Ricky Miller all of Rumsey; three aunts; one uncle; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Jennifer France of Madisonville.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Rodney Sills officiating. Burial to follow at West Union Cemetery in McLean County, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jimmie Dean Miller, Greg Miller, Steve Miller, Jimmie Elkins, Cody Mitchell and Brian Miller. Honorary pallbearers are Danny France, Gerald Lloyd, George Williams, Billy Hines and Carla Fallon.
