Jewell E. Newcom Bouchard, of Madisonville, KY. passed away at 2:36 p.m. on Tuesday October 26, 2010 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born in Marion, KY. to the late Bonnie Newcom and Beulah Nation Newcom.
She was a former plant manager at a dry cleaning business in Virginia. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Gideons International and was also a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, C.D. Newcom and Carl Newcom.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Bouchard; a daughter, Judith Belt of Oswego, N.Y.; a son, Jerry Woodring of Clay, KY.; a sister, Evalena Enoch of Newport News V.A.; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday October 29, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Madisonville with Dr. Joe Leonard and Dr. J. Gordon Henry officiating. Burial will be in Rosebud Cemetery near Marion, KY.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be John Michael Belt, Jennifer Belt Patterson, Tom Woodring, Robert Woodring, Logan Woodring, Eddie Parker and Caleb West. Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Patterson, and Madison Woodring.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International and First Baptist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
