Jerry Jones, 68, of Tupelo, MS formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away on December 31, 2023, at his home.

He was born on September 30, 1955, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Ora Mae Vannoy and Alonzo Jones. He was formerly employed as a mechanic for Madisonville Tire and Retreading in Madisonville. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Jerry was a member of Greater Lighthouse Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Beck Jones; sons, Eric Jones of Earlington, KY and Steven (Haley) Jones of Nortonville, KY; step-son, Rusty (Tiffany) Lair of Tupelo, MS; step-daughter, Samantha (Eddie) Coughlin; brothers, Roger (Debbie) Jones and Ronnie Jones, and Bob (Ann) Jones, all of Madisonville; sister, Carol (Paul) Fuller of Madisonville; grandchildren, Kori Jones, Jaxon Jones, Chesney Fulkerson, Talyn Jones, Kendall Jones, Kingston Jones, Libby Lair, Emme Coughlin, Lincoln Coughlin, and Millie Coughlin, several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Roger Jones and Bro. Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dale Jones, Richie Jones, Duane Burns, Rodney Burns, Troy Jones, and Keith Curneal.
