Jerry Lawrence Davis, 77, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on December 23, 1944, in Springfield, IL, to the late Kuma Bryant Davis and William Curtis Davis. He enjoyed working in his shop keeping things running for his grandchildren. Jerry loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and especially planting irises. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lonnie Joe Davis and William Lee Davis; and his great-granddaughter, Aspen Rickard.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Connie Davis of Madisonville; daugthers, Sherri (Jeff) Rickard of Eddyville, KY and LaDonna (Rick) Brockett of Harrisburg, IL; son, David (Melissa) Davis of Paducah, KY; sister, Eva Jane Peebles of Sacramento, KY; brother, Kenny (Regina) Davis of Fulton, KY; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Liberty Baptist Church, 100 Liberty Church Road, Madisonville, KY, with Pastor Tondra Daugherty officiating. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the church.

Pallbearers are Jonathan Rickard, Brad Rickard, Travis Brockett, Dylan Brockett, Daniel Davis, and Dave Landers.
