Jean Ramsey, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at NHC Healthcare Madisonville with her family by her side.

She was born on October 6, 1927 in Island, KY to the late Cloreen Campbell Case and Wade Shelby Case. Jean was a volunteer at Ridgewood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville where she was lovingly known as one of the "singing ladies." She was a member of Covenant Community Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar David Ramsey; five sisters; two brothers; and one grandson.

Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Vaughn and husband, Ronnie of Hanson, KY and Anna Littlepage and husband, Jack of Eddyville, KY; sons, Oscar Ramsey and wife, Gail of Madisonville and Jeff Ramsey and wife, Barbara of Manitou, KY; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Glen Hobgood officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brad Ramsey, Josh Ramsey, David Littlepage, Dustin Littlepage and Daniel Littlepage. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Maschinot, David Mutchnik and Gregg Simoneaux.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jean's memory to the Door of Hope or Alzheimer's Association.
