Jean Densmore, 69, of Madisonville, KY. passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Monday May 31, 2010 in Madisonville.

She was born May 16, 1941 in Webster County, KY. to the late Alonzo Jones and Lizzie Jones. She retired after 37 years from the Hopkins County school system with the cafeteria department. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank H. Densmore on November 18, 2000; several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her fiance, Hubert Stevens of Madisonville; two daughters, Lisa Jean Wilson of FL. and Amy Renee Brown of Madisonville; one step daughter, Robin Knight of Henderson, KY.; two step sons, Thomas F. Densmore and David Densmore both of Dawson Springs, KY.; one sister, Peggy Oldham of Madisonville; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday June 4, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Densmore, Jeffrey Densmore, Wayne Burns, Timothy Cunningham, David Brown and Roger Jones. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jordan Renee Brown.
