Janet Marie Rawlins, 66, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on October 5, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Loretta and George Bouzek. Janet attended New Life Christian Worship and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Rawlins, Sr.; son, Joseph Hein; sister, Elizabeth Scharschmidt; and her brother, George Bouzek.

Survivors include her children, Rella Palzewicz and husband, Scott of Wisconsin, Christine Vanmeter and husband, Billy of Madisonville, James A. Rawlins, Jr. and wife, Shawna of Greenville, KY, Kristina Rawlins and Melissa Rawlins both of Madisonville; brothers, Richard Bouzek and wife, Valerie, Donald Bouzek and wife, Laura and James Bouzek; sister, Mary Ellen Meyer and husband, Curtis; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Michael Marks officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
