Faye Jane Jones, 85, of Manitou, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, under hospice care at The Heartford House in Owensboro, KY, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on February 23, 1938, in Manitou, to the late Lana Brunette Jones Lutz and Lawrence Wallace Lutz. She was formerly employed at Brown and Holloway Insurance. Jane attended Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou.

In life, Jane loved dogs, thrift stores, Elvis, Christmas, and snow, but most of all she loved finding ways to bring joy to those she cared about.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of forty-three years, William "Billy" Jones; two brothers; and a half-sister.

Survivors include her son, Greg Jones of Manitou; his fiance', Valarie Barnes of Evansville, IN; their beloved dog, Dallas; and several cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A private graveside burial will be held at Hanson Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Concord General Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Fleming officiating.
