James "Jamey" Harvey Lewis "Stretch", 63, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at peace in his home.

He was born on March 31, 1961, in Madisonville, KY, and was a beloved son of Lana Sue Martin and James Arthur Lewis. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, friend, dog and cat dad, and neighbor. Jamey graduated from West Hopkins High School and enjoyed Hopkins County for most of his life. He loved to make people laugh, NASCAR, hanging out with friends, game shows, and being with family.

He is survived by his brother Michael Lewis; aunt, Judy Hollis; sister-in-law, Joanna Lewis; nieces and nephews, Heidi (17), Parker (15) and Allie (12) Lewis; and best friend, Paul Wilkerson.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Bobby Sellers officiating and Bro. Duane Burden assisting. Inurnment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
