James Ernest Wilson, 85, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 9:03 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at NHC Healthcare Madisonville.

He was born on June 1, 1928 in Dalton, KY to the late Susie and Archie Wilson. He was formerly an insurance agent with American General and was a member of Grace Communion International.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Jean Clawson Wilson; his son, James Eugene Wilson; his grandson, Russell Kramer; and his brother, Paul A. Wilson.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Ron) Kramer Waller of Dayton, KY; his brother, Maurice Earl Wilson of Madisonville; his granddaughters, Wendy (Kevin) Klausing of Carmel, IN and Julie Wilson of Madisonville; his grandson, Brad Wilson of Madisonville; his great-granddaughters, Mariah Moore and Kristlynn Wilson both of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Victor Kubik officiating. Burial will follow at Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, KY.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour Sunday at Harris Funeral Home.
