James "Jimmy" W. Walker, 70, of Madisonville, died at 11:05 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at his home.

He was born February 6, 1939 in Hopkins County, Ky. to the late Aubrey Lee "Pete" Walker and Anna Laura Duncan Walker. He served in the National Guard for more than 8 years. He retired from ANR Pipeline after 31 years of service as a mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Donna Ruth Marks Walker of Madisonville; One son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Keith and Sharon Walker of Madisonville; one brother and sister-in-law, Aubrey Wayne and Patsy Walker of Providence, Ky.; one granddaughter, Brianna Pantano; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday November 24, 2009 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, Ky. with Bro. Kenny Morrow officiating and Bro. Eddie Fleming assisting. Burial will be in Concord General Baptist Church Cemetery in Manitou, Ky.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home.
