James Morgan, 66, of Dawson Springs, Ky passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on April 22, 1952 to the late, Bertha Beatrice Morgan Kenyon and Robert Junior Morgan. James was a self employed truck driver and mechanic. He liked to fish and loved all dogs especially his dogs, Spot, Sadie and S.J. James met friends every where he went he was known as the person whom never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Morgan, Reta Morgan and Barbara Ann Morgan Knight; and his brother, Bobby Kenyon.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Morgan of Dawson Springs; sisters, Patricia Faye (James) Brandon of Dawson Springs and Karen Kenyon of Laurel, MS; brothers, William "Willie" Fulkerson of Ellisville, MS, Harold "Butch" (Sandra) Alshrie of Nebo, KY and Ronnie Morgan of Hopkinsville, KY; mother-in-law, Margaret Carner of Dawson Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Ilsley Cemetery in Dawson Springs with Pastor William "Petch" Brown officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was in charge of the arrangements.
