James Alvin Campbell, 60, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at his home.

He was born on June 25, 1962, in Chicago, IL, to the late Margaret Lee Wilson Marks and Bernard Alvin Campbell, Jr. James was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He loved everything Chicago and especially the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed listening to rock music and loved playing horseshoes and could beat everybody.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard Alvin Campbell III; and sisters, Sherry Campbell Johnson and Christine Campbell.

Survivors include his sisters, Louise Hopper of Henderson, KY and Debbie Baird of Middlesboro, KY; brother, Bill Marks of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
