James "Jimmy" Arvil Menser, 47, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Medical Center in Newburgh, IN.

He was born on November 12, 1975, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Hershel Arvil Menser and Betty Sue Menser. He was formerly employed at Union Local 207 as an abatement worker. He enjoyed working on motorcycles and loved going to bike rallies. He loved his family, children, and grandchildren very much. Jimmy enjoyed joking and laughing and was known for having an amazing sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother, David Ausborn.

Survivors include his previous wife and best friend of nineteen years, Susan Menser, of Madisonville, KY; sons, Matthew (Mckenzie) Menser and Eric (Donna) Menser both of Madisonville; step-son, Michael (Sabrina) Buchanan of Lewisburg, TN; brother, Donald (Sallie) Ausborn of Dawson Springs, KY; sisters Janie (Kevin) Ausborn and Judy Miles, both of Dawson Springs; sister-in-law, Denna Ausborn of Dawson Springs; granddaughters, Abigail, Haven and Raylynn; grandsons, Chance, Ashton and Aden; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at Mahr Park Arboretum Event Barn B, 55 Mahr Park Rd, Madisonville, KY 42431. Family and friends will be giving his eulogy. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the service hour on Friday at the park.
