J G "Woody" Latham, 65, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 3:15 a.m. Saturday February 20, 2010 at his home.

He was born March 31, 1944 in Hopkins County, Ky. to the late J.G. Latham who died in WWII and Nevelyn Blanchard Latham.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepfather William "Bill" Bivins; two sisters, Betsy Bivins Franks and Paula Bivins Jimenez.

He is survived by two daughters, Regina Embry Moore and Candice Latham; two sons, William "Will" Latham and Lance Latham; four sisters, Linda Latham Meredith, Kathy Bivins Hickerson, Jan Bivins Nicholson and Tammy Bivins Walker; two brothers, Frankie Bivins and Mark Bivins.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday February 23, 2010 at the Church of Gods Blessing, in Dawson Springs, Ky. (3560 Charleston Rd.) with Bro. Brian Richardson officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Friends may call from noon until service time Tuesday at the church. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
