Iva Catherine Marks Foster, 85, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation in Madisonville.

She was born on August 19, 1938, in Cochise, AZ, to the late Tildie Chappell Perkins and Clarence Perkins. She loved Cincinnati Reds ballgames and was an avid fan of Kentucky Basketball. Iva was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church in White Plains, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James "J.B." Benjamin Marks; second husband, David Foster; brothers, Eugene Perkins and Howard Craddock; and sisters, Linda Pryor, Ruby Blanchard, and Mae Craddock.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Marks of Hanson, KY, Vicki (Greg) Faulk of Madisonville, Marvin (Vicki) Marks of White Plains, Benjie (Anitra) Marks of Hanson, Mary (Mike) Froedge of Summershade, KY; stepchildren, Amy (Gary) Wright, Tony (Lee) Foster, and Jimmy Foster; brothers, George Perkins, James Perkins, Allen Perkins, and Doug Perkins; sisters, Frances Marks, Dorothy Marks, and Pauline Boyd; grandchildren, Brandy (Dan) Adler, Brad (Laura) Faulk, Chelesa (Justin) Williams, Hayden (Nicole) Marks, Makenzie (Dalen) Gipson, Tiffany (Josh) Shaw, Tyler (Tabitha) Froedge, Jalee (Kyle) Froedge, Brad Wilson, Julie (Mike) Wilson, and Jeremiah Foster; great-grandchildren, Myles, Tanner, Owen, Olivia, Braxton, Jace, Coleson, Raelyn, Sarah, Peyton, Chase, Sutton, Mariah, Kristlynn, Mike, and Brielin; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Johnathon Harralson officiating. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in White Plains, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Hayden Marks, Brad Faulk, Myles Adler, Tyler Froedge, Peyton Bowles, and Braxton Marks.
