Imogene Wilson Russell, 92, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 6:25 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

She was born on January 1, 1921 in Webster County, KY to the late Samuel J. Wilson and Pearl Mae Hawkins Wilson. She was a homemaker and was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou, KY. She was an avid UK basketball fan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Russell; and three brothers, J.P. Wilson, Raymond Wilson and Louis Wilson.

She is survived by one son, George Wayne (Cecilia) Russell of Madisonville; three grandchildren, Tyler W. Russell, Lauren W. Russell both of Madisonville, Evan W. Russell of Bowling Green, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Russell, Evan Russell, Bobby Johnson, Howard Parrish, Frank Latham and Chip White. Honorary Pallbearer will be James "Boog" Powell.
